Use the New RefWorks

Please start using the (new) RefWorks platform when you can.

Right now, both versions of RefWorks are available: (old) Legacy RefWorks and (new) RefWorks.

The old RefWorks will be going away sometime in the next year or so.

If you currently use the (old) Legacy RefWorks, please do these things:

  • Finish any documents you started in Legacy RefWorks before you move them to the new RefWorks -- you will not be able to finish them in the new RefWorks
  • Move your information from Legacy RefWorks into RefWorks

What is RefWorks?

RefWorks is an online citation manager that helps you keep track of citations to books, articles and other documents. RefWorks can also create properly formatted bibliographies, and insert citations into documents. You can login with your JHED information to use it while you are associated with JHU. It is free to all JHU users, web-based, and requires no special download.
