Book Series
A series is a group of items that have individual titles as well as a single title for the whole group.
For example, Lecture Notes in Mathematics is a series. One of the titles in this series is "Big Queues" (v.1838). It's part of the series but has its own title, too.
When all that you know is the name of the series and the volume number:
- Go to the catalog's ADVANCED search screen (link is below)
- In SERIES TITLE KEYWORD, put in the name of the series (e.g., Asterisque)
- In GENERAL KEYWORD, put the volume number
Search library catalog for books
Search for books, journal TITLES (not articles), DVD's, newspaper titles, and more.
