Introduction

This guide to World's Fairs/ Expostions collection provides information about our World's Fairs holdings. World's Fairs/Expostions were conducted to showcase techological and scientfic progress. Western countries also used the fairs to show the progress made by Western civlization, to justify colonization of other countries, and also to showcase their countries' industrial progress.
