NIELSEN RETAIL DATA
The Nielsen retail marketing datasets are available to Johns Hopkins full-time faculty and PhD graduate students for academic research. The data covers consumer purchasing behavior across the United States for a wide range of products sold in retail stores. Datasets include Nielsen's:
- Consumer Panel Data
- Retail Scanner Data
- Ad Intel Data
- PanelView Surveys
Access is available via a library license arrangement with the University of Chicago’s Kilts Center for Marketing. A special registration process is required. Start here https://marketingdata.chicagobooth.edu/Anonymous/Welcome and follow the steps below:
- In the Country box type/select: United States
- Institution Johns Hopkins University click GO
- Click Request Access to complete and submit the registration form.
