Publishing

There is a lot to know about publishing your article or book.

The Eisenhower Library (at Homewood) and the Welch Library (at East Baltimore) both have guides to help you with the publishing process:

Eisenhower guides:

  • Copyright -- An introduction to copyright, including using the work of others and re-using your own work, and public performance of films. There is more information about using images on our Finding Images guide (bottom two pages) and on Welch's Finding and Using Images guide.
  • Open Access -- Includes how to get financial support for publishing your article or book, and how to identify predatory journals and conferences

Welch guides: This guide to Scholarly Publishing and Open Access has an enormous amount of information:

Welch also guides to NIH Public Access Policy, Grants and Funding, and many other very useful topics.
