These resources may include some related chemical price information depending on the industry and market.
Start with a basic keyword search on the chemical name.
- ABI/INFORM - ICIS Chemical BusinessICIS Chemical Business is a sub-set of the business database ABI/INFORM. ICIS Chemical Business can be access by searching in the “Publication title” field. Articles marked "Chemical Profile" provide a regional (ex. Europe, North America, etc.) view of the chemical, its sales, and its industry. You can limit further by adding “chemical profile” and the chemical name.

Search for Chemical Prices in Recent Industry News Publications
- LexisNexis Academic1. From the opening screen, go to the very top of the page in the box “Source Directory” and select "Find or Browse".
2. Under the Browse bar, select the button for “Industry” and then go down to section 3 – Trail : Industry, and select “Chemicals”
3. A list of news and industry sources will appear; from those sources, select as many or as few titles as you believe are relevant.
4. Once you have selected the sources using the checkboxes, then click on the "OK - Continue" button near the top, right side of the screen.
5. Construct your keyword search (i.e. ethylene glycol and price*) in the "Search Terms" box and select the red "Search" button.
6. Once your results are displayed, you may need to SORT your results "Newest to Oldest" to easily find the most current results.
