Gilman Hall

Welcome to the Visual Resources Collection, 181 Gilman Hall. Visitors are welcome. Please contact the VRC with any questions or to learn more.

The VRC provides images and teaching support for faculty and students in the Departments of the History of Art, Classics, and Near Eastern Studies and for those teaching image intensive courses. JHU faculty, students, and staff have access to Artstor and JSTOR, the homes of more than 2.5 million images and the over 280,000 images in JHU's local digital image collections, including the local VRC teaching collection and materials from Sheridan Libraries Special Collections and the Johns Hopkins Archeological Museum. These resources reflect teaching and research interests across the humanities.
