New RefWorks and Legacy RefWorks


RefWorks is a reference manager and citation generator that helps you store and organize citations, move them into your documents, and change citation style as needed.


New users:

To log in to the new RefWorks choose “login from my institution.” The first time you log in, you’ll provide your Hopkins email address and fill out a short form. For subsequent logins, you’ll see the familiar JHED login screen.



Existing users:

If you already use RefWorks, you can stick with the old version (now called Legacy RefWorks) through January 2018 or migrate to the new version using the link in the upper left corner of your RefWorks library.
