The hours for most JHU Library locations and departments within MSEL/BLC are now listed on our hours page.

Standard Semester Hours for MSE Library are 7:30 AM to 3:00 AM for MSEL and 24-hours for BLC.

The library is open to public patrons with a PHOTO ID, but only if they come in before 10:00 PM.

Security Guard Desk
- Screens patrons and monitors building activity
- Central Lost & Found has relocated to 3001 Remington Avenue, Baltimore, 21211. Security guards log all items that are turned into security and places items in our secure storage bin for pickup by Campus Police each day.
Access Services Desk
- check out books, pay fines, request temporary library cards
Information Desk
- General library inquiries, help with printing and IT, supplies, and general research questions
Research Consultation Office
- Provides research assistance to students and faculty
Academic Liaisons
- Librarians with expertise in various academic subject matter
Print/Copy Room
- Color
- MAC Wireless Printing & purchasing J Cards
- Battery recycling
Exhibition Area (across from Reference Shelves)
- Seasonal installations of Special Collections work
